I side with you, I think Apple is crap...but they could do well with a console...personally I think gaming was better when PS1 and N64 were out because you didn't have such an oversaturation of games/console so another console would be even worse.....but like I said I think they could do well with it...if they do it right....I guess I'm in the middle on it.

I can't stand Apples either. When I was a kid my family had an Apple 2GS the thing was a piece of shit. More recently I had an iPod. It had to be replaced 3 times. Finally it broke after the warranty expired so I gave up on the iPod. I wouldn't be in any rush to waste any more money on anything from Apple.

Apples, Macs, Ipods, Itunes, I hate all their crap...the Iphone does look neat though but i'll wait until motorola or Nokia make a copycat because i'm sure iphone is just as crap as other apple products....
/waits for Apple fanboy to come in here and try to flame us all ;)

Good idea. Apple should make a console compatible with Iphones, Ipods etc.
It'll tear Microsux a new hole. The new console should be called Iplay or Isee.
Seeking, you's a genius. I wonder who will run with this idea and try selling it to Apple.

I-Game would be cool because then its kinda like a double meaning....igame to go along with thier trendy "iproducts" and then "i game" as in a statement...like "Yes, I game"
but i hate macs because i dont like thier marketing i think its annoying for one...and full of lies no less, i also hate macs becasue the way they operate is unatural imo....i dont want my window size options on the left, i dont want this childish interface either...those big bubbly icons just scream "middleshool girl' to me. I like elegance and profesionalism in design, lastly thier software sucks...sure they may have most of the major companies...but i use software from non major companies like ross-tech for instance, and thier software isnt compatible with mac.
Imo mac is a starter comptuer...you get a mac and then graduate on over to a PC once you grow out of the video chat stage

everything you explained can be altered to fit your needs
i graduated from PC to Mac about 4 years ago.....will never go back
at work we have Windows......i don't understand why it's called windows, and you can't even arrange them where you need them.....for instance....i do a logo in Adobe Illustrator, i want to drag and drop it into Photoshop....you have to put the whole Illustrator application half way off your screen to see Photoshop....it's retarded
you should be able to grab them and place them where ever you want them in the dock
and to those who say apple isn't innovative....first off I'm talking about their OS, not stupid iPods or the iPhone.....mac has had Expose for 3-4 years now....Vista jocked em "kinda" with the 3D flip
if you don't know what expose is....it is such a time saving tool...a way to sort through literally hundreds of windows with the push of a button or wavr of the mouse to a certain "hot corner"
i find myself trying to do it on my PC at work and I'm like.....damn.....lol
I'm an Apple freak, but I still use windows, with no problems....I just don't like when people say they hate them....when truthfully they probably haven't gave them a chance.....they are pretty much the same fuckin thing...almost all the shortcut keys are universal
if you have to have your dumbass close and minimize buttons on the right side, and that is the only downside you have, then you have OCD or something

actually windows had the vista interface beta a few years before macOS or whatever its called was released...mac actually stole that from microsoft, but that doesnt matter because this thread isnt about why mac is inferior to windows. you asked why people hate mac, and i told you why i hated mac..i dont see the sense in arguing about it...theres a tech forum for that.
this thread is about if a MAC console would be a success or not

I 100% agree with that and for them to make a console just as poorly would be a total waste of time...they'd be another Sega (well in it's dreamcast days).

i honestly think nintendo and apple would do really good together
Mr Burns

^that depends. Does Nintendo help Apples reliablity? Or does Apple hurt Nintendos? But I agree the companies are both similar in the sense that they aren't affraid to be different and try new things. I like nintendo bu as I stated above, dislike Apple.

i really cant say because i dont know enough about either system, just that nintendo seems to cater to the younger crowd (mario and shit) and so does apple

I more than likely wouldn't buy it. IMO apple doesn't make anything for the gaming community. If they just start with a console it would more than likely bomb with no previous knowledge on gaming. They seem to make stuff based on professionalism (mac) and what appeals to teens (ipod and iphone). Thats my bases on it.

but gaming appeals to teens doesn't it? I could see them doing an Iphone/Ipod with gaming functionality...but I doubt they'll ever make a console.

^^^^^^^ Yes gaming does appeal to teens but they still haven't tried addressing this yet. They might start with gaming stuff on the iphone and ipod but they shouldn't try consoles.
