Current car is a 96 Mercury Cougar. Bought it 3 years ago for $3k. Clean as shit and with only 35k miles. Deal was so good that I couldn't pass it up. Here she is:

2 12" SPL in a custom box, 1200x2 watt amp and 1 fared capacitor with electronic display. I've owned it for a little longer then I've had the Cougar because it was in my old Honda Accord.

Pic of my old basement's system with 2 10" JL, and another box of some 10" duals. I bought it for 100 bucks at best buy when I worked there, I only wanted the box. For a while I had them hooked up to the 1200watt amp and they actually handled nicely. They're now just sitting in my garage collecting dust.

Sell teh whole lot, and get some Cerwin Vega Strokers :)I threw the JLs out when I moved. They were pretty shot, the rubber surround was cracked. They weren't sitting around at the time, they were actually hooked up to the stereo. Being unamped it definatly wasn't good for them, but they wouldn't do much good elsewhere. I also had 2 other boxes and 2 other 12" subs that were crap. I only have the box with the 2 10s and ported holes left. Everything else was tossed.

The SPLs are amazing quality and sound. They're competition level speakers so match them up with Audiobahn, JL or some of the high-end MTXs and the SPLs will hold their own. I wouldn't sell them until I get a sports car and don't need them. They've held up for 3 years and sound just as good as they did when I first got em.

And also I've had the cougar for 3 years and still hasn't hit 60k miles yet :cool:
