He stopped Kobe before, He stopped Tracy Mcgrady, he stopped Ray Allen he stops everyone sometimes they can find a way to get past Bowen but still every single shot they take will take lots of energy and effort.

dude's a good defender but he is a dirty player, he sometimes sticks out his legs trying to hurt people :evil: . You saw when vince carter almost went nuts on that dude, because he stock is leg out there and carter is so easily injuried, that kinda pissed me off.

Yea Artest is the man I'd say he is better than bowen but Bowen's way in the NBA wasn't his shooting it was his defense. You can't say that for anyone else in the league but I'd rather have Ron Artest on the Spurs than Bowen anyday. The guy average like 5 points a game lol

Trenton Hassel from the twolves is just as good, I think he is actually even a better defender. What you said about Bowen being the only one to guard the best shooters in the league and do a good job at it is completely wrong. Hassel shuts down everybody he plays, look at the stats from this year....Kobe, McGrady, Pierce, Allen, James, Anthony, evetybody he gaurds ends up shhoting like 7-24 cause hes always in the face. So Bowne is ggreat defensively, but Hassels just as good. And hes got talent at the offensive end too, good shooter, post player, good hops, gets to the lane easy. Just doesnt get enough shots.
