How long has this been here? I've been on this site since it started and this is either new, or i've never even noticed it. Anyways, let me introduce myself in car terms.
My name is Tim, and I bleed ford blue. Ever since i started driving I've had a thing for mustangs. I'm now 25 and in the course of my driving for 9 or 10 yrs, i've had 7 mustangs...some better then others. My first car was a 97 v6 mustang (it was new)..my parents surprised me with it...it was awesome, at the time I didnt care for horsepower, I was more into stereos. After I had that a few years, I got a decent job while starting college I bought a 2000 gt vert and had it for 6 months until I got rid of it b/c it was an automatic. After that I purchased a '96 saleen s281 speedster, of the course of time it got a built engine and a vortech supercharger...had that for 3 yrs, but it kept breaking on me so I fixed it and sold it. I bought a '98 cobra and mainly did a bunch of suspension stuff to it, but it got real boring real fast and I sold it within a year.
I got an even better job and purchased a very clean 2001 Saleen S281 SC coupe. Mineral grey, composite hood, chrome wheels, supercharged...it was literally my attainbable dream car. I ended up blowing it up at the drag strip after about 6 months of owning it b/c of a faulty supercharger part, I rebuilt it and then sold it b/c I lost my ass on it and it wasnt worth hanging on to. Cut to now, I hated having huge car payments, and I wanted more of a toy, so I bought an '87 Saleen, it has a bunch of suspension stuff done to it, full exhaust, but in reality it doesnt touch the '01 which was 450hp. Neways, here are a few pics of my past and my now present mustangs...enjoy.
for the record, im not anti chevy, dodge, or import ect....if its nice or well done..i like it...if its ricey or gawdy I can do without...so ignore my screen name, or atleast dont take it personal lol
