Anyone else just drive for the hell of it?

sometimes when im bored ill hop in my car and just drive with out a care in the world, roll the windows down, turn up the radio and just drive with no idea where im going

yea i do that sometimes,even after im high..drop of people and cruise. When you driving it gets everyday bullshit out of your head and you can relex.

i love that too, its the best, on roads where im all alone ill turn the interior lights down real low and turn off the radio and just have it be quiet, its a real good way to just be alone

I used to do it all the time to get away from life and family, but now that I have my own place and a daughter I don't get to too often. I miss it though, good times.

i love to drive. As long as there isn't a lot of traffic. Sometimes on a Sunday afternoon I'll get onto some back roads and drive half way across the state of MA.

Yeah the gas killed it for me too. Back when it was $1.29 for 93 it was the thing to do, perfect stress reliever.

But $3.29 a gallon? Back to walking my friends

when I first started driving back in '96...i remember it being 79 cents a gallon lol. I live in charleston, so we are a port city, and typically have some of the cheapest gas in the country...right now premium is at 2.90

i used to do that years ago, but nowadays when i need to get away from things or be alone i just go to the gym and hit the weights. Im not gonna drive around just to sit in traffic.

i feel you, i do that as well, or i got this spot that i go to that no one knows about and i just sit there and look at the stars or the lake thats over there, but when i drive i dont try and get on city streets i go to the backroads to avoid traffic

i was once just mad and frustrated and just took off driving to clear my head, then realized damn i'm just wasting gas, and that was it.lol
