Staph Infection has crippled Militich Fighting Systems
Spencer Fisher will be un-able to take on Din Thomas as the main event for UFC Fight Night 11. He was hospitalized by a sever staph infection along with teammates Tim Sylvia and Drew McFedries. McFedries suffering the worse of the 3, had a sizeable portion of his leg removed and remains hospitalized.
Earlier this year a severe staph nearly retired Diego Sanchez. Sanchez was able to recover enough to step into the cage against Josh Koscheck, however it was apparent something was wrong with "Nightmare" as he did not offer much of a fight.
A staph also sidelined Forrest Griffin from facing Lyoto Machida at UFC 70 in Manchester England
