When doing flat,
incline, and decline, does the grip width matter? like when doing flat, should i do chest width or
shoulder width, same with decline and incline, and if it does make a difference, wuts the proper
way of doing each.

A wider grip stresses the outer
pecs a bit more, where as a closer grip would be more of a triceps workout. when doing a
bench press, whether incline, decline or flat, focus on the chest muscles and contract them at
the end of the movement. Also, push the bar outward with ur grip so u can better stress the
pecs, or if u were performing a close grip bench u would push the bar in ward while moving the
weight to better stress the triceps.

so if i want i do a normal grip,
which would be about shoulders width, would that balance out working the inner and outer
pecs
