coffee tastes like ass. is the only reason people like it is because they get addicted to it?

there was a time in my life I drank 2 liters of coke per day, more than water. right now I drink almost no coke, no ice tea, because I somehow appreciate normal water.
I am not addicted to coffee, but I agree somewhat that coffee tastes weird in the beginning. I drink beer longer than I drink coffee, still I think beer tastes "assier" than coffee. and I love the smell of coffee beans. but yes, I can only drink my coffee with a lot of sugar and a lot of milk. and a glass of water

I love coffee...I need at least 2 cups of coffee a day (sundays I make it 3 cups). I like to use a dash of low fat milk and one pack of sweet n low. I don't like sugar or creamer in my coffee. I prefer freshly grinded coffee beans known as arabica, but I keep some store bought stuff at all times.which is known as robusto...arabica beans have a more complex taste which is like an orgy in the morning
