I always wish I did better at school, cause then I would have gotten into my course at Uni straight away and I'd be finished by now and would be earning big bucks.

It's totally up to you, depends what you want out of life. I wanna do so many things, but not having enough money stops me from doing such things. So I'm taking steps to get more money.

If you decide to work, get as much valuable experience as possible. If you want an office job, try to get yourself an office job, learn as much as you can, do as much as you can and either work your way up in that firm, if not, find another firm with a ladder you can climb.

You just gotta figure out what you want to do and then it's easier from then on. Make short-term and long-term goals for yourself so that you know where you're going and you have something to aim for - some controlled direction in life.

It's all nice to be earning money and buying stuff now, but you do have to think about your retirement, think about savings, assets, all that boring important stuff.

I go to school full time and work full time, and i can easily say school is waaaaay better. In my opinion school is easier and less stressfull. Work sucks for many reasons; you have a boss, your probably doing some shit you hate doing, If you have customers they are kind of like your boss' too. So you should stay in school and then open your own business; or think of a good plan to rob a bank!

fuck work! Bang wit me!

im having the same predicament (sp?)
i want to work so i can have a car, cell phone, you know stuff like that
but im thinking of going to school to become like a medical assistant (aka male nurse he he :) )
anyways, it pays pretty good, they need help in this field so its almost a guaranteed job
and i get to help people while making good money
i need financial backing though, im on academic probation (financial aid got suspended) cause i didnt do so good my first year in college (well the second semester)

Glad to be of help. I'm certain a lot of people who have left school have wished they could go back and did better. I know in class you wanna fool around and have fun, but that's why we have lunch time, after school and weekends.

Create opportunities for yourself, you know what it is you're doing wrong, so listen in class, if it's getting boring, ask questions and MAKE it more interesting, do your homework and assignments and make sure you hand them in. Get good grades > get into Uni > graduate > career. But make sure you find your own way of enjoying it all along the way. You know who you are, you know what you like, so make it more than just boring-old-SCHOOL.

I really hope you do well JuJu :)

Maori!

I totally love culture. I am from the pacific islands of the Northern Marianas islands. I love the Haka! The warrior dances are electrifying. The chants gives me goosebumps. I love "Once Were Warriors" and "Whale Rider".

To the subject...

Find your passion! Do what you love! It must be something that has integrity, honesty, true, credibility, significance. If you live your life serving other people helping them get what they want, you will get what you want in life. That is the key to greatness!

"What lies behind you and ahead of you, is nothing compared to what lies within you." - Mahatma Gandhi.

All the answers lies within you. You live a self-fulfilling life. You create everything in life, the good and the bad. You accept the economic level where you are at and ultimately, where you will end up in. It is the truth!

I have invested a lot in myself. Because if I invest in myself, I will be more valuable. Ben Franklin said "Deposit a coin from your purse into your brain, your brain will deposit gold into your purse". I have invested time, money, and my efforts. All of those can be expanded. I see myself being a millionaire.

Know what is in your heart and that will bring about the success you want in life, as well as being happy doing what you love to do.

School versus Work...

I say that you should really take the time to think about what you want to do in life. Do you want to work for someone else? If yes, then would you want to work for someone else for the rest of your life? What would you want to be doing? Where do you see yourself in the next 5, 10, 30 years?

Schools prepares you to be an employee. Not so much being a business owner EVEN if you major in business at any college. People get a degree mostly because they think they should. You find a lot of people doing other things than what they wanted to major in. I think it is a waste.

Knowledge is power? Not entirely...APPLIED KNOWLEDGE IS POWER! Everyone "knows", not everyone "do".

personally, school is better, you process new information all the time, so your constantly learning, but school alone is like a long course, you just work your way up to succeed your goals, to have a job that you love not hate....
