Angle lost his Olympic gold medal to Eugene or something and now Eugene thinks he's the gold medalist. inviting someone once a week to challenge him and have 3 minutes to beat Eugene to get the medal.
last night, they were in Pittsburgh, which is Angle's hometown. and man when dude came out, the place went wild. Angle was so pumped last night aswel. u saw it in his eyes. he tried to keep the "heel" image by insulting his own people, but it didn't work. hahaha, they still kept on cheering for him.
Angle ended up losing for some stupid reason about running into the ref and stuff. but at Summer Slam, Angle gets his match against Eugene. i think Angle will win it since the gold medal is truly his.
i gotta say, Kurt Angle is one of the few wrestlers today who i really respect in every aspect of the business.

since we on that subject,
Angle, Benoit, Edge, Jericho and Christian are probably my favorites all around at the present moment. there are others i enjoy too, but those guys always have my attention.
i find JBL pretty entertaining. he's real good on the mic though. he should definitely remain a heel. he does a great job at it. altho i kind of agree with him about Batista being a genetic freak, i find Batista a good champ. i don't think he should be World Heavyweight, but WWE champ. i like his personality as the guy who's nice and cool, but don't fuck with him.
World Heavyweight Champions should be guys who truly been in the business for a long time and have paid their dues. whether they act as heels or faces. WWE Champ should be the rookie champs. just my personal opinion.
of course Hogan and Michaels, even though they are not able to perform like they used to, u know when they come around, it's the shit. i LUUUVED Hogan's comment about Bret Hart on RAW.
i been downloading a few classic matches from the good ol' days and man i miss them. do u know if they have any of those events on DVD?

i think everybody is better as a heel.. they are so much more entertaining and funnier.
i don't change who i like.
i'm not like the wwe fans who easily gets brainwashed into liking somebody when wwe wants them to like them.
the active wrestlers i like are kane, undertaker, angle, carlito, jbl, batista, hhh, mohammed
wwe fucked up kane and lita's story line by having the personal life situation.. that was stupid. they used to try to make wrestling look real.. now it's just a joke.
mohammed is fucked unless he goes back to the better show - raw.
they should stop making a fool out of angle with that unfunny idiot, eugene.

problem is, when it comes to gimmicks, not many guys can make it believable like they once were able to do.
too many wrestlers come in with their real names and have no real characteristic about them that really sets them apart from the rest.
i 4got to mention Kane, he does a sensational job playing the psychotic role he is now. Taker is in a league of his own, i dont need to mention his name as he is already there and has been since the mid 90s.
Triple H has elevated himself but he talks so much it's annoying. he goes in the ring and takes up so much time that u get bored of him. he doesnt give u the chance to miss him or 4get about him b4 he comes back in.
Hassan is a good athlete and could have been a good addition to their future. but his character is so controversial, it seriously could have hurt someone. even Sgt. Slaughter would get real life death threats when he was that Iraki sympathizer. but to fans like us who can tell the difference between entertainment and reality, he was amazing.
i already said my share on JBL, Batista and Angle.
one match i regret i will never see is Bret Hart vs. Kurt Angle. man that could have been a classic. not just their amazing in-ring abilities, but it could have been a good storyline. Canada's hero vs. USA's hero.
Bret has openly spoken about him wanting to wrestle Angle if Bret was in the shape he was and still wrestling.
R.I.P.

what did Hogan say about Bret

Shawn Michaels and Hulk Hogan had a segment where they had a "debate". 2 podiums were put in the ring and Jerry "The King" Lawler would ask each of them a question regarding the feud and they would answer.
HBK went on and on and wouldn't even let Hogan answer his own questions. he would say how Hogan based a career only on show and charisma. also that in the ring, Shawn is untouchable.
Hogan cut HBK off at a point and said "Listen here Brother"... and he said that while Shawn and Hogan were a tag team these past months, all Shawn had to do to get his match against Hogan was ask. but he went behind his back and took a cheap shot at Hogan giving him the super kick while Hogan's back was turned.
and then he went on how Shawn is a cheap shot and a sneak and that all he had to do to prove it was "call Bret Hart". the crowd went insane. they started shouting "You Screwed Bret" all over again. funny part is Shawn put on an evil smile and said to the crowd ".. and don't u forget it", and then turns to Hogan and says "you're next".
u know wut's crazy? RAW this Monday is in Montreal, where we all know Shawn and Vince screwed Bret out of the title. now HUGE speculation is that Bret might make an appearance and have a few things to say about this Hogan vs. Shawn feud.
although Bret said he wouldn't go back and that the only way he'd work with Vince again is if it was on a documentary or something, u can never say never. because if u think about it, just imagine wut the fuck could happen if Bret shows up. ESPECIALY IN CANADA!!! ESPECIALY IN MONTREAL!!! i think there won't be any time left for the other segments. i think there won't be any time left for Bret, Hogan and Shawn to actualy say something. hahahaha!!!
while we're on the topic of Montreal crowds, i remember back in 2002, the RAW after WrestleMania 18 in Toronto, they were in Montreal. and the first time Hogan comes to the island city. he was the first segment and on TV, u heard the crowd give him a standing ovation for 5 minutes. in reality, as i got many of my friends who went to the taping, the actual ovation was between 10 to 15 minutes. so i can imagine if Bret comes around.
but then again. maybe i'm just over excited at the idea.
