A democracy simply
wouldn't work in that country. Why? Because a democracy is constantly changing, and that
country needs stability. Someon in office can't do much if he's given four years in the way of
forcing stability on warring factions. Even the elections would be rife with problems and
fighting. Saddam, in the first place, was kept in power by the US, and then they placed heavy
embargos on the people. The people looked to Saddam in anger because of all this, without
thinking that the US aided his rise to power, than in the Gulf war, kept him in power, than took
away all the normal foods and medicines that are usually easily obtainable, killing many of their
children for lack of penicillin... point is... they looked at Saddam in anger, which is what our
government hee wanted. Then they call the invasion a 'liberation'! It is the funniest story
I've ever heard... and those who believe in it are the saddest. Well... now Halliburton is happy
though... so the american troops will continue to get killed until Halliburton sets up everything in
needs to run its corporation in there. How sweet liberation is!

As a muslim, it is beautiful
for me to see the Shias and Sunnis coming together... I've always been one to believe we
have different understandings on certain subjects, but never one to believe calling ourselves
by different names because of them. Differing in opinion is a big part of Islam(ijtihad) and is not
something we can start calling each other disbelievers for, and dividing ourselves. This is
clearly against what the Prophet Muhammad,pbuh, taught. We all follow The Qur'an, and our
Prophets Sunna(way of life) the best we can. Our differences do not warrant different
name-calling and such division. This may lead to a much better future of unity. So lets thank
the government!
