Came stock with an LT1, but the block was cracked.
Put in a tubed crossmember, fixed the frame Tubbed out the rear end
Then threw in a 5.7 LS1 Turbo Charged, with everything you can think of done 2 it.
Tubbed the ass,put a racing rearend in, Nhra certified roll cage, got some big ass slicks and a few other drag racing mods. last time we had it at the track ran a 11.20, and then a bunch of 11.80 second passes. Trying to tune in the new engine, but pretty fast for the work and money put into it. Not bad for my first dragster. Not as fast as my pop's car yet, but I dont mind.Good enough for me.Ill have it runnin' high tens before summers out.Was thinkin about sellin the LS1, or puttin it in an S10, and then getting a 406 liek my pop's has in his, but without nitrous,and half the other shit he has.I dont need no 8 second car yet. Id prolly shit myself.

Also got a 1995 V6 camaro, cold air intake(came with it) New interior (custom interior from my race car. When I got the race car had like a $2000 dollar custom interior but took that out to put racing seats in) Black suede, with white leather down the center. Two Cerwin vega strokers that I got super cheap and 2 rockford amps to push 'em. An alpine headunit. Tryin 2 find rims for it, and getting ready 2 get it painted.

thanks, the Victor is supposed to kill some torque but with 533 cubic inches i doubt ill miss it! the engine is finally going to get assembled now that im done hording parts. Cars not done yet though,it should hit the paint shop really soon,probly next week. ill post pics when its painted. I used to have an LT1 also,it was a 1994 Viper Red (custom paint job) Impala SS,i had it stroked out to a 381 (.020 over, plus 3.75 scat crank) with a decent cam and some porting done on the heads and of course gears and all the bolt-ons ,that shit moved,smoked a couple LS1 F-Bodies in it.Didnt RUN passed them but walked them at least,not bad for a 4200lbs car!
Yeah too bad the only Carb intake available for the LT1 is a dual plane,but at least its still a good one.After working on the Impala and then going to the Galaxie,i dont think imma ever go back to EFI, the LT1 was fun, but carbs and no electrical hurdles (knock sensors,TPS sensors,MAPs,O2's and such) and not having to smog test it is no comparison. Old technology wins

lol yeah man, no gas mileage at all. Yeah I had problems with my starter forever, such a pain. I just put a new front end kit on it, I gotta some bodywork on it(alot of dings here and there, and a hit and run above the back tailight), paint it, get new tires and then probably sell it. The just drive the Milan, gets like 31mpg and its a nice looking car so Id be happy with just that for now I think. Who knows though lol
