how do I record a track while listening to another everytime I try both tracks end
up being recorded on a single track.

u need to fix tha settingz on ur sound card to record off tha mic itz probly set to record off tha stereo mix.....................On ur Master Volume settingz (tha speaker on ur bottom right corner next to tha clock on ur pc--double click it will open up) go to Options-->Properties-->Under adjuzt volume for pick Recordin' click ok-->at tha bottom of tha fader select microphone and it should record off tha mic now.....................i had tha same prob fo a while when i 1st started uzin' Sonar but i finally got it to work..........hope that helpz if u have anymo probz let me know i will try to help.
