I was just about to post this.. just heard it on espn.. was sad to find out.. I watched so many braves games over the past on TBS... sad to see him go.. may he rest in peace :(

Damn, I've heard Skip's voice for so many years, watching Braves games as a young kid. Sad to see him go. Rest in Peace.

Me too. I've been watching the Braves for over 20 years and I looked forward to coming home, watching them, and listening to Skip each and every night. It just wont be the same now. :(

I think due to the fact that TBS is nationwide, a lot more people will mourn his passing than say, a Dave Niehaus.

Before I moved to Washington, I watched Braves games every night at 4:00pm, followed by the Giants at 7:00 (Krukow and Kuiper are the best in the biz right now, without a doubt). Very sad to hear that he passed away.
