movie with Ossie Davis and Bruce Campbell

i'm going to some artsy theatre place in
norfolk to check it out tonite

it's one of those independent low profile type movies at
the moment, but so far from what i've read on iMDb it's a really good movie (not that being
independent and low profile means a movie will suck)

i'm really looking forward to it,
cuz Bruce Campbell is a very entertaining actor especially in the Evil Dead trilogy

from
the trailer the movie seems to be about an old Elvis (bruce campbell) and ossie davis in a
retirement home that's being attacked by a mummy (egyptian dead thing)

making sequels where he is fighting different monsters and shit

movie i caught it on kazaa and if they plan 2 make sequels, and they just as good or as close
as the first it looks like bruce is gon have another cult following series

i thought the movie
was good

nothing spectacular, but in terms of story originality, humor, and characters it
was good

i think from the previews and being the Evil Dead fan that i am i was
expecting a shitload of action

the theatre was packed which surprised me since the
movie was so low profile but seeing it with a crowd made it enjoyable since we were all
laughing and clapping cheering and what not

also the movie was pretty "explicit"
which caught me off guard, there was a lot of dick jokes and a handjob type seen lots of fucks
and shits too (not that that offends me or anything, i just didn't expect it)

i like how a lot
of people died, cuz i can't stand movies where all the good guys live since it's so
cliche

"Don't fuck with the King!"--good line

and the movie seemed short too,
like an hour or so

the movie started out really well, good intro to story and characters
and somewhat of a buildup, but then it seemed that towards the end things were rushed
