okay i'm getting pretty handy with this Reason thing and i'm having a blast with the muthafucka to be honest. i've made like 7 different beats just to familiarize myself with it and all that shit. now however, i would like some ... tips and tricks dammit. i'm not out to drop a demo or anything like that, but what are some producer like things to keep in mind?

but mainly the thing thats really been on my mind is how does one develope his own style? Uneek has his, Jazzy has his, timbaland, dre, manni, bbtp, and all of them have some signature shit. how can i go about developing my own distingusih shit?

I use Reason as well, but after a while, you'll grow tired of it and want to improve. Everyone who uses reason pretty much has the same style because of the liimited instruments, but I guess if you want to develop your own, then it is all about being redundant. Maybe have one instrument that you learn to craft and make it sound good or maybe drum patterns. Like Timbaland has distinguishable drum patterns. Just whatever sounds good to you is your style, and evenutally you'll develop it.

cudnt of said it better^^^^!! also bear in mind, i know its jermaine dupri on da beat cos of the tight hat pattern, u know its lil jon cos of the synth, n bass!! and kanye, with the tablas!! just make sutin good with a specific instrument and then learn to adapt it to different styles!!

i use reason too, but like scarface said, its limited. but some good tools to get ur background knowledge on!!!
