when i write...it's all real. my personal opinion about what i write
is i haven't written n e thing that i'm satisfied with. after i write
somethin and read it as a complete piece of work, i always think that i can do somethin more to
it, or that it's jus' not as good as i want it to be. but when i let other people read my stuff, most
jus' love it, some like it but can offer suggestions. then when i go back weeks or months later
and read over all of my work, from the first poem to the most recent that i've written, i
recognize a growth, like how much i've improved in my ability to actually write something
good. and i think that my most recent poems (and lyrics) are some of the best that i've written,
and they very well should be considering the crap i've endured this month. 8)

I am the same way. In ways I love going back
and reading my past work, but then I see that I could've done a lot better on "this or that", but
then I realize that I only could've done better because of what I have learned over time (the
knowledge I didn't have back then!)...

Ask yourself why you're writing, and if you can
answer that, then you're going somewhere...I write for myself and others, to share the
knowledge/pain/happiness/awe I have inside with others.
