well its not gonna be the quality of a top dollar high end mic, but that samson should get the job done in what your trying to achieve. Don't know if its better than ur current mic, cause idk what gear u have...
I recommened getting a condenser mic and a decent preamp, along with a good enough interface if you don't already have one... u got any questions just pm me..

i dont know man i wouldnt go with a usb mic i heard they have some problems such as latency and what not, they depend on your computers processor so its risky, id have to agree with AT you should get a condenser mic and an interface/preamp it will most definately give you better results.

Yeah, like Remayne said, with a USB mic, you will have latency issues.... Although it will be MUCH better quality than your current microphone....
But i recommend setting up yourself a budget, and getting a Condenser Microphone, an Interface/ Preamp combo, or seperate.
Just set up a reasonable budget, and look up some equipment or something.
