I heard you can only buy hosting by paying Monthly. Isnt it not possible to pay a full-payment for a year?
Also, the capacity allowance of 250MB, would that be enough for hundreds of photos (Which are to be taken from a 10+ megapixel SLR camera) because i dont think it is enough.

i think you pay the monthly rate for a whole year all at once.
what's the average size of a photo taken at that quality? take that number and divide it into 250

Most places have the option of monthly, quarterly or yearly, and if you do yearly sometimes one month free or something.
250MB is probably not enough. It all depends on the dimensions your camera is set to take. if it's 2048x1024 then it would be about 2MB/picture probably, but like I said it all depends. Take a picture, see how large it is then figure it out. For all we know it's as little as 700KB(about .7MB)/picture.

I dont know the size, because i have not bought the camera yet.
It will be a latest Diigtal SLR camera, so they are about 10 million pixels or more on average.
So i was guessing 250 is not enough because 1 photo (i think) would be couple of megabytes.

i also heard you could downsize the photo to make the photo smaller.. but wouldnt that reduce the quality of the photo?

Yes, you can downsize photos. Reducing quality, not really, unless you plan on zooming far in on the picture. But for just viewing the photos, no. When I upload pictures, I generally reduce the size to I think 400x300pixels.
You just need to make sure, when downsizing, that you keep the same ratio...
3200x2400
1600x1200
800x600
400x300
I have my phone set to take pictures at 800x600 (because of bad quality), and then I downsize using photoshop to 400x300.

i get it now.
So uploading a 10megapixel+ photo. downsizing it will only make it smaller, but not reduce Quality. but if zoomed in, then quality is distored?
