Why
are you crying, Is there something thats wrong?
Do you cry because life is no more then a
song?
Could it be that you see what fools overlook?
Is it not just the wars but the mens
lives it took?
But why do you cry? What good will it do?
Do you think the world might
stop and listen to you?
Do the teardrops that fall have a meaning at all?
Tell me why
you allow those teardrops to fall.
Why do you cry, I ask you once more
as yet another
teardrop hits the floor
Answer me if you please, and then he turned his head
and my
heart came to life when that crying man said,
"For each teardrop that falls from my
cheeks rosy red
lie a hundred tears for the tortured, the dead
and my father in heaven,
well he hears me you see
and he answers my tears because he loves me
a hundred
people are saved for each teardrop I cry
a hundred people who otherwise would have
died
you see, I love people and I want them to live
and my prayers and my tears are all I
have to give.
