I understand that but I just find it strange because calling gangs for pussies is like calling Eazy E a pussy since he was a member of a Compton street gang. I know he doesnt directly mention Bloods or Crips in his music because he was real like that. He did give shout outs to a few hoods though, one I remember was Grape St Watts, which is a Crip gang in L.A. Watts. I think the song was called "creep wit me" or something.

Yes I know I am being defensive of people who are part of a gang. Ill tell you why..I spend my life, everyday around nothing but gang members, gang neighborhoods. gang everything. My father, my uncles, cousins were all gang members. My close friends. basically my family. I came across certain threads on this site that made me kinda trip out because some of things being said about gangs are far from reality when it comes to real gang life, and I feel I should speak up and give people a piece of my mind since alot of people seem to not have a clue, which is very much understandable for people who either have nothing to do with gangs or just arernt from a gang.

I do love some of my homeboys that I grew up with and knew my whole life. People join gangs for different reasons. Well, right now I am doing what I need to do to get out of this situation. I would for sure not want my kids to be gang banging, I dont have kids but if I did. I'm not ready to leave my NH completly. I want to move out into another area one day. But ill never leave and forget where I come from. Ill be here for my close homies and help them out. Some say gang violence is senseless, some say gangs are trouble. Overall, I agree with you. But again, this all goes back to that "I DON'T GIVE A FUCK" mentality that people on the streets have. Young hearts full of hate, and anger. I blame most of the gang stuff on parents. When I look at every gang member and their life, I always notice, theirs always something wrong at home for them. some worse than others but its extremly rare for them to have a nice healthy family. I realize everyones family aint perfect but theirs just certain things that cause kids to turn to the neighborhood gang for family. Of course everyone deals with their problems differently. But I know if my family wasn't so fucked up, I would have been MUCH better off. I didn't know it before but I had alot of anger in me, so I left my house and took it out in the streets. I felt respected, and felt like I was on top of the world(atleast for a while). How could I turn that down? The kids in the Nhood looked up to me and wanted to be like me. Even though in the back of my mind, I knew what ganglife lead to, I didn't care. I was living for today and not tomarrow. I wasn't thinking about the next 5 or 10 years, I was thinking about tomarrow or next week. Like fuck it, were all going to die anyways and life sucks.
