What excited me about signing on to represent Bone Thugs-N-Harmony was their Authenticity! They are real human beings (first & foremost) who just happened to invent a rap style and overall Brand Movement second to none in the world of Hip Hop. They make conscious choices to deliver the music which is simply the soundtrack of their lives. They are everyday human beings who come from very challenging situations, they just happened to do music. Bone has always viewed their music as nothing more than a platform to share their struggle and to raise the awareness of the people in the world who share their struggle.
Bone & Bizzy are trying to resolve adverse issues that are much deeper than just bad habits. They are coping with issues that are hereditary, Genetic, & quite frankly natural to the gift of life. They realize the major affect that their problems are having on their Team & Family lives. Which is why they decided to refocus, re-bond, and Regroup, thus creating "The UNI5-The Worlds Enemy". Making music for them is one stage of therapy that all of the guys need with respects to dealing with normal shortcomings that they have and that we all have.
In all of our families we have members with problems that need to be addressed with overtime Love, Care, and attention with respects to their situations. Regardless, Bizzy Bone is a human being and has a kind spirit. He like most humans beings is faced with obstacles that he must overcome. He can do this by wanting to overcome them first and having the right support system to help him leap over those obstacles. He has such a system within his Bone Brother Hood! The fact that no one is running from the problems in the Bone Camp is a true testament of their Integrity and overall strength as a unit. It also shows the respect that they have for their fans by wanting to give them another classic album.
It takes lots of work to record an album prepare for shows and tours, the media and the overall scrutiny that comes with their profession. Wanting to give the world an album of Truth and "A" level creative quality, is nothing short of being Responsible artists and overall good people. Allowing their lives to be an open book with the attitudes that in doing this they also represent all of those who don't have a public voice is just another example of the character of Bone. In an industry full of frauds and humans who simply use art to destroy good and spread lies, Bone brings Purpose, Truth, Honesty and overall Realness that all must respect!!
This is why I'm honored to be a part of this undeniable movement! Bone shouldn't be judged or ridiculed but rather applauded for stepping up to the plate in the game of life & adversity and Hitting a Grand slam with respects to standing up like real men when facing their dilemmas regardless of the finger pointers and haters. We will get over this Bump in the road cause IN GOD WE TRUST!!!!
