Thuggish Ruggish Bone was a smash single & when you think about it, it doesn't pertain to everyone either. I thought Never forget me wouldve been a good single if Wish's verse would have been better. A song with a strong stance & statement of their RETURN & Impact on the industry would be good. Bone needs to return to hard singles and I think this one will turn heads.

I agree with Cyrano. especially on with what he said bout the subject matter. kats out here want something they can play and relate with. like with "I Tried". muthafuckas go through that shit. so when it came on the radio and niggas was going through some things they'd vibe to it on the way home and such.

for a first single the idea is to catch a persons attention, right? well, you're gonna need a great beat (something that catchy) and subject matter folks relate too. judging from the clip of layzie "Rebirth" sounds more like the first song after the intro. or an intro/song on an album. it's got just the right amount of energy/message to tell the listener that they're finna hear some raw shit on the album.

"Nuff Respect" in my opinion is more first singleish. the beat has a good vibe (could be darker in my opinion), chorus is catchy (but better if it was bone doing it HARMONIZING), and subject is decent. i could see it in the clubs or in the trunk even.

my only nit pick is that it's too long as a single. you got 5 kats rapping with the chorus/ verse song structure. i haven't taken the time to count the bars, but that shit will get boring the way it is. by the time the last nigga comes on, folks will be waiting for it to end. plus radio stations be bitches about time, they might start cutting the song short. and we all know we hated them doing that shit back in the day.

with all that said i wouldn't even use "Nuff Respect" as the official first single. it's been on the streets too long and for the same reasons i listed above.

ASAP? How come? Why is the Bone Thugs 'manager' asking fans if a track sounds like a single? Like, right away? Are they going to turn into a pumpkin? It's not up to Francis, or even Bone, what the single is, WB isn't going to listen to Francis saying 192 fans think this is a good single. That's not how its done. Why does this 'manager' have this kind of time to Twitter, Facebook, and ask fans every little thing that is always in the hands of the label? This is EXACTLY what I thought when I saw this at the Nokia concert I walked out on before they came on last month. I got very frustrated, with the type of acts they had on stage representing them and cussing at fans, making fun of people....it doesn't feel like them anymore. That's no good for Bone whose been there. They don't need the novice approach. That's critique not bashing. Asking for feedback after the fact, is what managers do, they don't go around saying every couple hours, I'm up in the house at WB. Francis is not on WB's radar. I'm sure WB doesn't want to think Bone's manager has to Facebook and Twitter fans for immediate responses in order to get it together and turn in some tracks.

i think the enemy theme is the most anti-Bone, anti-Harmony, anti-positive, most negative thing they could do to destroy themselves on topic. once anyone hears the title, new or old, they're going to think that Bone has problems, troubles, is angry, is jaded, and enemy does not inspire light, which Bone needs all the light right now. they shouldn't have any chip on their shoulder, they should be happy they got a chance, and they should forget the weak points of the past, and revelle in the now. don't play the loser, the stepped on, lead the way, don't say you were beat down and still feeling it.

Look at world's enemy from a more spirtitual perspective. I don't think this title is about being mad at the world for something or saying that they are being hated on. I think it means that they are choosing to defy the very nature of this world. In other words, this world is ruled by satan and his demons who is responsible for things such as them not getting along and bizzy having his problems with alcohol. Well they are saying that no matter what they will be a unit and fight this shit and do whatever they go to to survive. Thus they are the world's enemy. Anyways thats how i see it.

Bone need to come back with their original style to represent emergence from darkness to light - hope this ain't their first single. Krayzie should produce the track as his style is tight and he knows how to put down REAL BONE tracks - DJ UNEEK can be a soundboard. Krayzie Bone & Bizzy Bone should look at doing the intro together just like on the Eternal Album.
