So what was this? From what I remember, the DOA track was delayed and hyped up for a week and for what? I'm not going to express my thoughts about that song because there are various opinions about it, but this I do know - it was not worth the hype put into it! That song could have been released as if it were just another song and not receive the backlash that some members (including myself) have given it, but it wasn't. The expectations for this song, because we were not informed that it was a remix, were high and many were sadly disappointed. I would hope, for Bone's sake, that there is a glimmer of hope come September 7th. Enough said.

The first single is entitled "see me shine" which is not the same song as "eazy-e" I have heard both I am from the think tank. Eazy-e is just a song dedicated fully to E where as Crossroads was to many people including E. Flesh told me that they felt they deserved E his own song and that no one ever has done that yet! My opinion about the track is the individual parts are good but I wasn't a big fan of the chorus. It was a r&b chorus done by some girl (not sure if it was felecia or who). I felt the chorus needed to be done by bone and I told this to bobby and bone. So we will see all in all though a good track but nothing compared to the actual single from the album called see me shine that song is amazing. I haven't heard a song that good from Bone since Crossroads. Wait till you all hear it!

The DOA remix was terrible, but it wouldn't have been seen as such a disappointment if it was never called a "single". It should have just been quietly leaked because it's just a Bone messing around in the studio song, not a single of any sort.

DOA was absolute bullshit. It was discusting that they could even give us this as hype, it completely flattened what I expected from the album when TGAR and NR were both better than the new material. Bone really need to up their game. No promotion, no hype outside BTNH's orginial fanbase, it's total shambles. i don't know , seems to me that they are kinda lost with the singles , why don't they drop "Rebirth" as a street single??everybody was feeling it but now they will release a track that didn't even catch the attention of most of the members on that think tank thing...i really don't get that

I do agree I think rebirt should have been a street single and there is 2 versions of rebirth i'm not sure which they will release or put on the album. In the version you all have heard on youtube it is with thin-c doing the chorus. In the think tank we heard it with Layzie performing the chorus instead of thin-c. The difference between the 2 is in thin-c's version he sounded more hard core where as Layzie sounded more smooth and less rough. We listened to them both who knows which they will release for the album. As of now though "rebirth" is suppose to be their 2nd single.

The chorus is sang by MJ and goes, "what have we done with the world......look at what we have done to the world" The whole track is about making changes for the better and fixing all the bad in the world. It is pretty amazing. I don't know why know one else has mentioned it but ask them they'll tell you about it.

Now with regards to Rebirth I actually liked the LAy version better, but it was split like 50/50 with who liked which version better. Some liked thin-c some liked Layzie's. My fave was layzie, bu we will see what they put out.

Sucks that MJ died, but because of his death that song will get a lot of attention which is why i'm suprised they actually don't release it as their first single. I think the single "See Me Shine" is better but I don't think it will get as much attention as the MJ track just because it doesn't have MJ in it even though it is the best Bone track i've heard since Crossroads.

Now with regards to the weed song on the album yes we heard it I can't remember the name of it now! IT was good but I thought It could have been better. We only heard the eazy track once so I am trying to remember but I don't recall any sampling from tha crossroads. It seemed completely new and fresh to me. But I didn't like the chorus much at all. I think it is Phaedra singing it and it just wasn't strong and too slow. People in the think tank were like that has to be in the top 3 cause it's for eazy and I was like no u all r crazy. Just because it's dedicated to eazy doesn't make it a hit. That's awesome they r doing that for E but the chorus was weak and we haven't even heard the verses yet. Ha k I am really excited about the Universe style. They are calling it more than a song but a style that is more new to bone. Bone said they want all 5 members in every track on the CD! So they are worried about making songs too long and they were coming up with a way to shorten the songs while still keeping everyone on and Layzie said what if we each trade off word for word and sentence for sentence. So that means take the sentence, "this song goes out to Eazy" lay would say this flesh would say song and so on...... Universe was the first song they laid down in this style and it was really good and a little different. They said they would record at least 2 more songs like this (refering to it as the universe style). They said it is hard though cause its hard to perfect it, record it, engineer it and all that stuf with them switching off so frequent and fast. Should be interesting I really want to hear the other 2 or however many songs they were set to still record in that style.

Not sure haven't heard the earth song, theres a good chance it could be a sample. Bone just said they recorded it in May and didn't give any details. I'm going to download earth song now and i'll let you know.

The beat is totally new kind of a crossroads type of beat (easy going beat taht everyone just bobs there heads too), all 5 r in it (all 5 members will be in every single song on the album), and the chorus is just really good with Krayzie performing the majority of the chorus but the others are alon in it (kinda in the background performing liek the echos and what not) the end of the song all feature Phaedra who performs in tandam with Krayzie bone. When I heard it, it reminded me of the first time I heard Tha Crossroads when it first came out. Just blew me away and I haven't been blown away like that from BOne since Tha Crossroads. Don't get me wrong a lot of good singles have came out since Tha Crossroads but nothing really blew me away like that when I got my first listen. Maybe Days of OUr Lives came close for me personally.

I do agree I think rebirt should have been a street single and there is 2 versions of rebirth i'm not sure which they will release or put on the album. In the version you all have heard on youtube it is with thin-c doing the chorus. In the think tank we heard it with Layzie performing the chorus instead of thin-c. The difference between the 2 is in thin-c's version he sounded more hard core where as Layzie sounded more smooth and less rough. We listened to them both who knows which they will release for the album. As of now though "rebirth" is suppose to be their 2nd single.

yeah i edited my post again. and read what made me think exactly why i thought about what your saying in previous posts. but yeah remember on some of the songs it didnt have all of them on it. i know for sure on the celebration song that only 3 of them were on there. and not all of the members were on every song but who knows they are not mastered yet so anything can happen. and nah i wasnt any of the girls in the manning jerseys lol. that was Char and Sofia. but yeah i read through the posts and thought what i thought because at first when u didnt know about the earth song it makes it sound like iin some of your sentences that u thought that the song was new. specifically in that one sentence i bolded out for you in my previous post. and then after they told you about the earth song then it sounded like you finally realized it was just a remake. but yeah just a misunderstanding i guess lol. but read the other post before this that i re-edited.

The first single is entitled "see me shine" which is not the same song as "eazy-e" I have heard both I am from the think tank. Eazy-e is just a song dedicated fully to E where as Crossroads was to many people including E. Flesh told me that they felt they deserved E his own song and that no one ever has done that yet! My opinion about the track is the individual parts are good but I wasn't a big fan of the chorus. It was a r&b chorus done by some girl (not sure if it was felecia or who). I felt the chorus needed to be done by bone and I told this to bobby and bone. So we will see all in all though a good track but nothing compared to the actual single from the album called see me shine that song is amazing. I haven't heard a song that good from Bone since Crossroads. Wait till you all hear it!
Well, when might we hear it? The album is sapose to be coming soon and if they dont get a song out or some hype the album will be in serious trouble. HA Yes I am posititve!!!!!! We heard it twice! We voted on our top 3 songs and that was one of them. It's called What have we done. It's an amazing track. The chorus is sang by MJ and goes, "what have we done with the world......look at what we have done to the world" The whole track is about making changes for the better and fixing all the bad in the world. It is pretty amazing. I don't know why know one else has mentioned it but ask them they'll tell you about it.

Now with regards to Rebirth I actually liked the LAy version better, but it was split like 50/50 with who liked which version better. Some liked thin-c some liked Layzie's. My fave was layzie, bu we will see what they put out.

The remix was SUPPOSED to be a single.

Eazy-E is going back in time. They think it makes them rap-credible. It's dated. PLUS

Eazy-E signed then, but HE BURNED THEM contract-wise.

Bizzy even said it and that he considers Eazy-E responsible for giving him a lot of drink at a young age.

What did Eazy-E do for Bone? Sign them to the worst contract and then hand it over to Tomeka.

Do you know what that contract said? It said: you can't get a righteous amount of $ until you sell x units before this date. Then Ruthless held BACK promo so it WOULDN'T sell x units.

When that date passed, Bone lost the rights to the $ and Eazy-e lapped it up. That's when Bone got pushed, once their rights were exhausted.

Bizzy said it out loud in an interview.

This Eazy-E tribute is like talking about the past and trying to hang yourself on a legend instead of putting out a single that says what Bone is about right now, today.
