ok... i'm really into rap and all that and i guess u can say i have a "hip hop style" as far as how i dress. i grew up in some fucked up neighborhoods and to be honest i feel more comfortable in the hood then in the suburbs. i really only have one friend thats white. i dont consider many people friends though. i probably would only consider 5-6 people my friends everyone else i'm cool with but not that close to. and to top it all off i have never dated or messed with a white chick... when people first find all this out they think i got a thing against white people or something.

one thing i gotta say is that i'm not a "wigger" or "wanna be". i can see how people may get that vibe from looking at me cuz how i dress but if u know me then u find it out right away that i'm definetly not a wigger. people ask me all the time why i never dated a white chick and the answer is simple. i've never been attracted to white chicks for the most part. theres some that i like but most of the time i dont talk to them cuz our personalities wouldnt vibe.

people i work with always clown on me cuz of all this shit sayin i hate white people. like if theres a hot chick thats white and she comes in their all like "dont tell jc cuz u know how he is"... i'm like wtf is that supposed to mean? i like lookin at a hot chick no matter what race... lol. anyways at first it didnt bother me but it's starting to get annoying. anybody else ever deal with something like this before?

That sounds like you care to much bout what people think bout you. As for me if they said something like that i would just kick thier ass. But don't hang around people that pass judement. THEY AIN'T GOD. And if you die and go to heaven and GOD say"what up JC the wigga" then you'll know they was right until then fuck em if they can't take a joke. I personally can't lay with a black chic I tried with 4 different girls we fucked, but I really didn't like the smell of thier hair. Latin hotties and white chics only for me. With your occasional asian.... if she's got good teeth.

hhhmmm..... well, I reckon if that's you, then no one should tell you not to be who you are

Although, I do think it's funny when I see white guys trying to act/dress/talk black. But I live in Australia, so it's hilariously sad seeing and hearing it.

no.. i feel that way about the burbs cuz people are so fake there. i grew up in the fucked up spots around cleveland and the people there are more sincere then in the burbs. i dunno... and it's not cuz the white thing cuz white people are in the hood here too, but the people from the burbs are so phony.

I'm probably the opposite of you. People expect me to act "ghetto" just because I'm black. But I was born in Africa and when we got into this country, we were poor so we lived in a poor part of town. I just never took to the ideals of the African-American culture though. But I'm coo with anybody that's coo with me. I've heard so much hate that I just ignore it now because it's not gonna do me any good to get worked up over it if I'ma have to go through my whole life like that.

Who cares? I do not agree wit the "wigger" thing because I do not act or talk a certain way because of my skin so why sterotype blacks to be a certain way? It depends on were you grew up & how you were raised.

People might say the same thing because I hate msot rap & I like Marilyn Manson (my fav. artist) but thats ok, there ignorant, I wont limit my self expression to the sterotypes about my skin color.

Maybe you should think more honestly about it. And im not being insulting, or an ass. Really, maybe if you thought about it deeply, and honestly, you might come to the conclusion that you dont have many white friends or like white girls because you've trained yourself to dislike them. You just might not realize it.

You're into rap and the whole hip hop culture including your clothing style, and Im guessing the way you speak and act somewhat. subconciously you might dislike whites cuz you think you're more connected to people who live the same culture as you, which happens to be minorities more often.

Look, im not saying you hate white people, or you're a wannabe, but maybe subconsciously there are some traits of those things going on in you.

The only thing I found kinda ridiculous with what you said was about feeling more comfortable in the hood than the suburbs. I can see a black kid from compton saying that if he was thrown into some super rich white neighborhood byhimself and he defintely felt out of place, but there's really no justification for having that feeling other wise, especially for a white dude, unless you're convincing yourself of those feelings without even realizing it.

Just my input on it, not suggesting its the absolute truth.
That's how I feel about this situation. I understand where he's coming from, somewhat. But if he's unable to feel as comfortable in the suburbs as he does in the hood, it's a lot deeper than he thinks.

I grew up a mixed spic [irish & dominican], and I know how it feels to be judge by even your own fam. What I did was just be even more open about other races, and cultures. My friends are so mixed, I don't even think about a specific race, or anything. Yeah I crack jokes sometimes, online and in my personal life, but i've never had problems being close friends with any race, regardless of how I feel they feel about me.

JC xXclusive, don't worry about it. Nobody here could give you real advice, because this is your life. You feel the way you feel, and that's that. But like Mike was saying, sometimes it could be that you're programing your mind to think a certain way. This could be true, because of your love for hiphop.

Whatever, just don't think about it much...

I wouldn't necessarily call him a 'wigger', per se [not using it right, sounds smart], because there are black people who wear 'urban' clothing to fit in, aswell. So a white man wearing urban clothing, and listening to hiphop shouldn't be considered lower humanoid...unless they take it too far, and start to act out against his own race.

I think what it all boils down to is people pretending to be who they aren't. There's just stereotypes already implanted about the portrayal of a black and white individual. So people find it strange when someone acts outside of their stereotype barrier because we are more apt to notice something that strikes us as out the ordinary. And its always gonna be that way.

the people in the burds around me are fake. i work in the burbs and my brothers friends are all from the burbs... i have family that live in the burbs. this is what i see ... this isn't me making myself feel better about the situation. my brothers friends will run around talkin so much shit where their from but they were scared 2 come 2 cleveland for the first time cuz they're phony. i work with alot of people that act so tough but wont go to certain areas cuz they're fake. and i dont mean the ghettoest places in the world either. there's a place in downtown cleveland with a bunch of night clubs and those same people that are the toughest people in the world in the burbs wont go there cuz they're afraid.

and i never said i relate better to minorities. i really dont relate 2 people from the upper class. i'm from a lower middle class up bringing and i can relate to people like me. white, black, asian, spanish or whatever. i'm proud 2 be white, but i'm also proud to be part of the hip hop generation.

Don't be proud to be white, as if there's anything to be proud of being white skinned. That kind of attitude is why racism still exists.

Be proud to be human, be proud to have been fortunate enough to be grated existence.

Proud of the hip-hop generation? Tell me, what has the hip-hop generation done for you? How have the fallacies of others (rappers) influenced your life in a positive way?

I never said it was wrong, plus your viewing my statment and taking it completely out of context. I didn't state as to wether why you shouldn't be proud of being white, so you should not assume; that only leads to assumptions :winks:

I might make an appearance later to further enlighten. Till' then get your ass back in that music store as to not rape and pillage...
