basic rundown: just as good as good old technics 1200's but far less than half the price. i really like it but i'm shooting for something more extreme (and unfortunatly it's extreme on my wallet)

155 plus shipping with DHL (they're cheap) i'm going out on a limb to say about 166 total, i tried calculating a rate from here to NY where it came from and got about 11 dollars

when i bought it i scoured the net for the best deal (like 165-70) just to pay like 30 bucks shipping from "DHL", online stores are bogus like that, basically go to a store and you pay the same price about 195 all the way up to 220

this thing is in every sence of the word new, but i opened it so i can't claim that :frozzy: so i knocked off fourty bucks

i also got a mixer (stanton sk-5) i might want to sell... basically 1 turntable + simple scratch mixer + connection to any music source (cd player, mp3 player, even radio) and a scratch record = all you need to be a scratch dj, well that and hours of practice

lol it depends on you and your style of music (i dunno what EDM is but apparently it's repetitive as fuck and more based on a formula than anything else), some people could do it instantly some never can. i don't mix, not at all never tried- too much crap considering i'm not the kind to play out to crowds.. i've been trying to learn to scratch and it's all just for fun.. probably my most expensive hobby ever. when i bought my first table back in 2000 i think it was just to get a feel for screwing and chopping with actual vinyl no money sank it and i've recently rekindled the flame casue tables are cheaper and better now. basic mixing is just about beatmatching and releasing at an appropriate time, when you get better there's shit like harmonics and other shit nobody would notice but it's all blahhh to me i'd rather start a track scratching instead of blending

i never liked numark turn tables. They make nice nice nice mixers though. I got stanton turn tables. 600 a peice. But my needles are broke so havent fucked with them in a while

the new numarks (200's and up) are top notch, i wasn't going to buy them but i read around and everyone seems to agree numark stepped up their quality a hundred fold. i still own an old numark belt drive (omg i was a cheap retard to buy that) and sitting next to my 200 it just seems wierd the same co. made them. i just saw some stanton str8-150's go on ebay for like $220 each, i cried cause i missed out on bidding

and btw, i'll just add my two cents and say that Numark makes good shit. I've had my Numark turntables for like 5 years, and granted i don't use them like everyday (prob once a week), but they awesome. My mixer is also Numark and i've never had a problem. Def make good stuff for those that want something inbetween real expensive and just beginning.

i want to get gag seal breaks and sealed breaks to learn drumming, and butt crack breaks for tones but that's far too advaced for me to think about right now
