my
WMP 9 series wouldnt work so i installed the 10 series technical beta and it was gay so i tried
to delete the 10 series in add or remove programs so i could re installl the 9 but instead of
asking me if i want to remove the 10 series it asked me if i wanted to revert back to the 9 but i
knew i couldnt do that cuz the 9 series was already fucked up and i tryed re installing the 9 but
the setup exits cuz it says i already have the 10 series but i cant remove the ten.

so
what im askin is how do COMPLETELY wipe out WMP and all of its components? Because i
want to re install the 9 series
i go to WMP in program files and delete everything and empty
the recycle bin but it keeps coming back.

there are 2 users on my computer do i have
to delete WMP on the other users profile also to remove mine?

can you also
recommend GOOD media players that are VERY SIMILAR WMP 9 series?

Winamp
sux
so does REAL and Musicmatch

Control Panel >
Add/Remove Programs > Add/Remove Windows Components, then uncheck the box that
says Windows Media Player

that's all you have to do, not manually deleting the
subdirectory in Program Files. Manually deleting the files will cause a wide variety of errors,
such as improper function, misplaced files, etc.

download it from
microsoft.com, and then install it, the installation should overwrite the old files and wipe out all
the corrupted files

i already tried to
reinstall it, everytime the installatiion starts it says "windows detected a more recent version of
WMP and setup will now exit"

I wanna get rid of WMP so i can re install it
