~The Literary Lounge~
A forum dedicated to members' works of poetry, stories, and other writings
Please read the rules :
1. NO threads or posts that have nothing to do with the Literary Lounge, voice your opinion inside the thread. Keep it to things that pertain to poetry and writing only.
2. Constructive critism only! NO need to make fun of someone's effort, there's nice ways of saying things, and there's disrespectful ways. Help the aspiring poet/songwriter and encourage improvement.
3. We would prefer if a member is going to post a comment about another's writing, it be more than a one word respose. Offer feedback, advice, or any questions you might have.
4. NO STEALING.
5. Swearing is allowed in your poetry or stories, BUT please keep cuss words from the title.
6. Using Thread Tags are not required, but they do add more information to your thread.
7. NO FREE POSTING!
8. NO Freestyles. That means no rap songs or lyrics, they belong in the Freestyle and Lyrics Forum.
Poem - A verbal or written composition designed to convey experiences, ideas, or emotions in a vivid and imaginative way, characterized by the use of language chosen for its sound and suggestive power and by the use of literary techniques.
If you have any questions, ideas, comments, or complaints, please feel free to PM the moderator of the Literary Lounge. I ask you to please respect this forum and as we all take it seriously. Keep in mind of the rules; if you break them you will be warned, then infractioned, if I feel it is necessary.
