write poetry every now and then
this is from 03-04 school year, did it after a math exam.
side note
the good thing about poetry
well in my poetry
you could make up
words, like invent ur own tenses...
and it still makes sense
if that made
sense,,
no more stalling here i go:
Ugly Duckling
ugly duckling
swims unhappily
no ma, no pa
a one duck family
brothers and sisters pretty and
fly
got married and disappeared in the sky
left their own brother
their own
blood
on the dirty, lonely pond to die
ugly duckling calls his duck call high
the cold
bitter wind his only reply
the water is too murky to see his reflection
so he’s not even
aware of his physical defection
solitary and seeking desperate attention
history of false
hopes and constant deception
failure after failure of anothers affection
feeling self guilt,
turning to the Lord for repention
he is only beautiful in God's eyes
the ugly duckling
we've all held in our lives
