Put it this way, if Bizzy's lyrical content was higher, the way he's rapping wouldn't matter to me. I'm not caught up in 'fast rapping' like I was 5-6 years ago. Things change. The way he raps now can't really be described because it's hardly ever the same. Unless you feel if he's not rapping fast and demonic, he sucks? I don't know.

Personally, i'm not a BIG fans anymore, and have to rely on downloads before actually buying his records. This is the same with Bone.

Don't get me wrong. His 'style' of rapping was the shit back then. Unstoppable. He defined the Bone sound when he was still level headed and reppin' Bone to the fullest. I think if anything, I wouldn't want another pre - Art of War Bizzy. Anything from AOW to Btnhresurrection (and The Gift), I wouldn't mind.

*Edit* Different things for different people; although as it regards to songs that focus on "listening" as opposed to "dancing", I don't see why fast rhyming or tongue twisting is as revered as it is, especially when the lyrics tend to be subpar while the flow -- repetitive. A track is likely to find longevity if there's a new meaning a listener can discover in it each time. Another reason why one would want to stray away from "catchiness". Obviously, this does not apply to some very rare individuals, for example a Bizzy Bone of old, whose songs like "Way Too Strong" are timeless in sound.

Ah, someone else who makes sense. Seriously, the least an artist can do is give respect to whoever inspired him or her. Especially, when the fine line between inspiration and imitation is indiscernible.
