All my life my family was there for me--but not my mother or father//
so growin up it didnt bother me to turn into a GD G runnin streets like a martyr//
now harder than that was keepin this secret from the woman that gave me birth//
but unearthed at the time of me failin the 9th grade for the 3rd time//
absurd mind--but i still stayed true to the G's in the street n the cause of the grind//
did my father care--never that, cuz that motherfuccer was neva there//
so my mentaility hit as soon as i realized the reality of my nature was from where//
2 states, 1 district, n 11 homes where my true fam was distant at times//
still persistant in the mind-- cuz i knew my fam was hours away near mine//

cuz i didnt care either way--didnt care if i died durin the sinnin at nite//
cuz a knife pressed into my life would only release me to right//
but then thoughts gone cuz outta my left came an angel from heaven//
skip a couple chapters and just kno that she got me outta the dark where i was headin//
then spreadin news got out soon to my fam i was leavin for good//
not greive'n cuz i kno that somedays i would be bacc in the hood//
bacc to see my light that should have been there at first life where i stood//

im only misunderstood to others that dont understand my wife n brothers//
but uncover n discover that my life would have ended without my lover//

sept 11th of 96 i turned 14 then found out my grandma was dyin the next night//
took a flight to Los Angeles got home & 2 weeks later my otha granny passed//
my life went downhill my lil cuzins got adopted,got evicted we were goin nowhere fast//
time past by me and momz struggle to survive we moved from place to place//
its just me and her for the first time and i hate she always invades my space//
gangs replaced school i thought the thug life would be cool//
packin a tool like a handyman violence was my fuel//
played my mom for a fool she caught on and then we moved//
she found out i got expelled so there was no need to be removed//
i proved myself in da hood i was a hot boy like lil weezy//
gettin paid off stolen credit cards man i thought i had it easy//
i grew up a fuckin screw up like luda and young jeezy//
momz called me sleazy when the cops came to bust me//
got thrown out at 16 she talkin about how she cant trust me//
i got lucky cuz she loves me she just wants me to become a man//
so i moved out wit friends did my own thing lived by my plan//
thats when my crew began them niggas is are my fam//
so now we out here hustlin sellin O.Z's to grams//
we had to sell our house i started livin at da homie big sams//
in 2003 i joined uncle sam to be all i can be in da service//
3 months b4 boot camp i fall in love all of a sudden im fellin nervous//
army finds out i got an ulcer then there like sorry u cant serve us//
so my purpose must be bacc wit my baby, 6 months we broke up cuz obsessed//
on my 22nd bday i got my girl been together 2 yrs even my momz is impressed//

Alright Vega, you had a good verse, but I felt the flow was off more often than not. And Syxx, I believe you had a very good verse too, and the flow was good, but the end of it all, was, I felt, abrupt. It seemed to just end out of no where. But, it was an overall good battle, and my vote has to go to....Syxx!

Both were strong-- really strong -- its a hard topic to spit over-- emotional and hard to get the fact in there -- Both had a really good flow use of vocab and storyline -- my vote goes to the verse I felt the most and that was Vegas so
