im doin some thing for government where we have to make up any law, it can be about anything as long as its appropriate, like legalizing weed is ok if you have the right things and not just say "cause i like to get high". but also list 3 pros for it, or things that make it a good reason, and 3 cons, or things that make it a bad choice. anything you want...

Legalize Marijuana...

1.It doesnt kill you, i researched it, theres nothin that ever stated someone died from smoking weed, you may die because of your actions but thats it...I've smoked marijuana on numerous occasions and im just fine

2.Cigarettes and Liqour are on the market and they're more destructive for you than marijuana is.

I'll get back at you with a third one

 i love beeeeeeeeeee, finnaly someone learns before they start spouting off their views with no backings, my friends were heavy ass smokers and they had fucking huge binders full of studies of marijuana usage, what it typically came up with is that marijuana usage had no conlusive link to cancer, one study said yes another said no, hundreds each finding the opposite of the one prior..... huge binder...

my law: regular people can't make laws < best law ever

if i were to make a law there will be no death penalties in all countries.

*noone has the right to judge another person,no matter what they did. ("only god can judge me"-tupac)
"does a man have the right to say who dies and who doesnt?"

*life is a gift, and no man has the right to take another mans life.
if the law, can sentence someone to death,
"what would u call someone who takes another ones life?"

............................i cant think of a third one, but thats just what i think
............................about death penalties, read it and disagree, its totally
............................up to u.

I kinda side with Lost Soul's 3rd one

but i was gonna say for pregnant women, theres a con to that, cuz i dont know what weed will do to a baby if it does anything at all, but when you get high, you eat more, and a pregnant woman could eat more and nurish her baby

but like I said i dont know what marijuana would do to a fetus

haha ill use my recent english report for this topic:

Marijuana is a relatively harmless and widely misunderstood drug. It was pronounced illegal for no legitimate reason in the early 1900s. The law-makers said it was because they feared that the drug gave Mexican labor workers super-human powers, which is an unbelievably preposterous concept. Much of the government and the media have despised this substance ever since the highly untrue propaganda film “Reefer Madness” was released in the 1930s. That film marked the beginning of the lies and fallacies. It stated that marijuana provokes violence and often leads to rape, without using any evidence to back up the absurd accusations. Nearly every bit of information in that film is false, and it was made entirely to scare teenagers and young adults into abstaining from marijuana usage. Ever since then, occurrences such as the never-ending brainwashing of children in schools and the showing of laughably false television commercials have been surprisingly quite successful in making people actually believe it is a somewhat harmful substance. I am completely appalled that so many people still believe all of the propaganda. They deserve to know the truth about the so-called harmful drug. In fact, marijuana should be legal because it would benefit the economy, it is great for medical purposes, and it is the safest controlled substance on Earth. Plus, it was legalized in Amsterdam and some other places, and nothing bad has come of it. The US should at least give it a try; all it would do is help.
The legalization of marijuana would greatly benefit the economy. All that the government needs to do is put a tax on it. We are in so much debt right now because of the war in Iraq, and legalizing marijuana could quite possibly get us either out of debt or close to it. Also, I do not understand why the government spends so much money each year locking up harmless marijuana users and greatly overcrowding the prisons. If they were all taken out of prison, the US would gain a large sum of money each year and there would be more room to keep real criminals in the prisons. Another thing I do not quite understand is that some people say that marijuana is a “gateway drug” and leads to harder drugs. One thing they are not taking into consideration is that if it was legalized, it would be available in many stores and shops, so people would not have to get it from drug dealers and be exposed to harder, more addicting, and life-threatening drugs. That would end the false “gateway drug” theory, while efficiently helping the economy at the same time. Also, legalization would be beneficial because cannabis is the most durable hemp plant, and hemp plants are generally very strong and can serve many purposes. For instance, the hemp can be used to make useful items such as rope and clothing. Paper can also be made from hemp, and that would save many trees. The process of deriving hemp from marijuana plants was used a long time ago, before marijuana became illegal. In fact, even George Washington himself grew marijuana in his yard in order to make hemp products.
Marijuana should be legal because it is great for medical purposes. For example, it is tremendously helpful for AIDS patients. They take so many different medications that make them feel nauseous, and marijuana is one of the only substances that helps them gain their appetites back. I know you can obtain a Cannabis Card in California if you suffer from AIDS or a related virus or illness, but marijuana can also be used to cure everyday illnesses or nuisances in which a Cannabis Card will definitely not cover. In most cases, marijuana can cure headaches, sinuses, and it can temporarily relieve coughing. It is not necessarily the best choice of medications in those cases, but it does often work. Also, if a patient, or recreational user, does not want to smoke the substance, there are other alternatives for use. One way is by using a vaporizer, which is much less harsh because you inhale vapor instead of smoke. A couple of simple, rudimentary ways of cooking marijuana are by mixing it in with brownies or boiling it in butter. There is an endless amount of other entirely safe recipes for people who do not like smoking the substance.
One of the main reasons why marijuana should be legal is because it is the safest controlled substance known to man. There is absolutely no physical addiction, unlike with tobacco and alcohol, which are both legal. Marijuana has no overly harmful chemicals in it, but it has some unneeded ones. The only actual needed chemical is the THC, or tetrahydrocannabinol, which gives the user his or her euphoric state of mind, often called their “high”. Some critics say marijuana is more potent than it used to be and it has more THC than it used to, but that is not necessarily true. Even if it was, it would cause people to smoke less, and that would lead to less lung damage. Tobacco, on the other hand, has an unfathomable amount of harmful chemicals in it and is extraordinarily addicting. Also, countless amounts of people die horrible deaths each year from lung cancer caused by tobacco. Alcohol, too, is rather dangerous and is particularly harmful to the liver. In addition, alcohol also frequently leads to violence or in some cases rape, and it is the cause of a large amount of car accidents each year. In contrast, there are a minuscule amount of marijuana-related accidents and deaths each year. I do not advocate driving while high whatsoever, but I do know it is a lot safer than driving while drunk. Plus, there are no records of anybody ever dying from lung cancer or anything else just from the consumption of the drug. Believe it or not, marijuana is even safer than sugar, because too much sugar can cause disorders such as diabetes. Still, the media feels the need to advise children against using marijuana. I do not know why they waste their time trying to keep kids away from it, when they should really be advising them to stay away from truly hardcore and potentially dangerous drugs, such as cocaine, crystal meth, and heroin.
There are numerous ways to help with the slow process of legalizing marijuana. The legalization process is merely in a dormant state at the moment, and all it takes is one person or small group to help bring the issue back into the mainstream. One way to help out is to find out about activist groups in your area and possibly consider joining some. Another way would be to somehow contact your state and local legislatures and inform them of the seriousness of the issue. There is not much else that can be done, except for starting a petition, which would be quite difficult and rather time-consuming. The easiest thing to do is to just sit back and wait until the government lets the people vote on the issue, which will hopefully be soon. It was almost legalized in Alaska, and that would have been a major stepping stone for national legalization, but the proposition was not quite passed. It was very unfortunate, but there is still much hope for the future. If all of the optimistic supporters could diligently work together, hopefully it will be legalized in no time. If marijuana became legal, the US would develop into a better, more affluent, and considerably freer country.

Nobody over 65 should be able to vote for president when you get past a certain age you become unable to truly understand what ur doing 100% and the only way to make it fair is to set an age cut off .

Those that are healthy and grow past the cut off can do there part by supporting who they want to win still by word of mouth.

This would stop hicks from swaying votes for gold ole boys the united states needs to evolve.

Also anyone over 70 should not be driving period to many people get killed by old people that shoudlnt be driving .

third n last id say if you come to this country and live here u must get a 'speaking id' you must speak english and pass a test that you can speak it clear enough to get a special document that we all should carry.

It must be provided as proof to get any job in america the class to get this should be completely free and taught in grade school for those that grew up here.

I hate driving behind an old person. Especially on the damn freeway, it's like there's a truck on the right hand side, and an old person in front, I'm just shit out of luck. Then when I finally pass, you can't even see their head, I don't see why old people, get such big cars, and can't even look over the damn dashboard! :x

That fucked up sterieotypical statment of communists being arogant was arogant in itself....... This is wats fukin up society today....... Socialism & communisim is the best most "Peaceful" way of life ever in theory..... & it cant be denied.... i hate wen american democratin bullshit is jus brainwashin people makin communisim look so fucked cause of whats happening in Cuba or Cambodia or wat not.... i bet majority of people who say ow communisim is fucked & they steal peoples money & they control everything has no idea wat its all about...

Jus to remind u people...... the word "democratic" is jus a term used by the governmet to make society feel "safe".... its a load of shit.... if u's havent realised they already takin our money & rights & control everything....U dont see that governments pay us jak shit?..... i mean now days u cant claim 1/2 ur tax returns....... & thats theft..... where as communism there are no worries about money....u'r given everythin.... all u have to do is simple.....its called cultivation..... restore our resourses together........ work for this world not for selfish & materialistic reasons

Im not sayin a democratic government is bad..... im sayin there are cons with every form of higher power..... & yes....currently so it seems its like commusnist governments are abusin their power & authorities.......... But isnt that what every government does?....i know its not right but it is the last thing that should be looked down upon especially by democrats....(YOU)..... u have to see communisim in theory for urself.....& imagine how society would be if it was followed correctly & without any coruption of powers.....

JUS DONT JUMP TO CONCLUSION ABOUT COMMUNISIM OR SOCIALISM.....

Props on that.. I wrote an essay very similar to that last semister but I like your statement about if weed was legal we would no longer have to go to illegal drug dealers where worst drugs are present.. but I think one of the main reasons why marijuana is illegal is because the government is making more money off of it being illegal then legal.. think about all salutations people pay for having the possesion of weed.. and also it gives the government another reason to get search warrents and bust people... basically more bs

that's odd because death penalties are given to murderers, they killed some 1 @ the 1st place, according "does a man have the right to say who dies and who doesnt?" then did he have the right to murder some 1? but the law doesnt have the right to give him death penalty?

i would make a law so government secrecy is absolutely 100% intolerable and anyone found keeping secrets from the public will be punished with life imprisonment for treason.

why?

-secret societys run america not the people.

-government could very well be hiding cures for every single disease aswell as free energy.

-Government stages terrorist attacks against its own people if this law was passed this wouldnt be possible.
