i cant even front.....i thought the album was average when it first dropped...but after hearing s&l and going back and relistening to all the group lp's, im beginning to think id rate this a lil higher than s&l

.....this shits actually pretty polished if you dont mind bone doing a lil softer shit......and flows together as an album alot smoother than s&l......i feel like bone was more into and together on thug stories as well.... there are a couple tracks i might skip, especially "this life" but other than that.....this album has really grown on me, and like i said especially after hearing s&l.......im have to say thug stories is a 4 to me and s&l is a 3.5

thug stories = slept on solid effort by them bone thug boys

s&l = good but overhyped

Thug stories definitely doesn't get as much as love as it deserves
But there are still some tracks on this album I will never like (CALL ME ranks with Lil Love and Candy paint as Bone's worst songs).

Intro was HOT, although it sets a very aggressive tone, which is in contrast with a mostly soft album. Other favorite tracks were Stand not in our way, This Life (I don't know what yall smoking, this track is brilliant especially the instrumental), and Fire.

Among Bone's three worst albums (TWO, Thug Stories, S&L), I've been back and forth as to which album I like better. Now I'm feeling TWO more than the others. But damn, that really puts BTNH's career into perspective: their worst albums are pretty tight.

This is a good CD. Not their best work but definitely worth having. Call Me, Still No Surrender, She Got Crazy, Do It Again, and Fire are the standout tracks.

I think it's a hot album. Def better than SnL. "Intro" was a great way to start it off, coulda been a single in itself. Personally I loved Krayzie's line "I'm bout ta hit ya in yo bankroll!" "Thug Stories" and "Do It Again" are great to just chill to. Kinda into the "So Sad" beat. "Fire" is phenominal, and is named appropriately. "What U See" seemed to be a good follow to the Intro. "Still No Surrender" is cool because it's not as aggressive as it's predecessor, and it's another good chill song, but you can still feel their anti-authority message.

I think if the tracklisting was rearranged some, this would of been a better CD. Imagine if "Fire" was right after the "Intro" instead of "Call Me", I think the momentum of the CD would've picked up more. Unlike alot of the posts here, I liked "S&L" better than this, but still a good album.
