After 6 rounds, it was pretty much a draw. De La hoya had floyd backing up the whole time and would miss oppritunities to get him in the kill zone because floyd is so quick. Floyd was accurate on his hits, while de la hoya was just flying everywhere with his punches and floyd would use his fantastic defense to get out of tight situations. Then at about round 9, Oscar was getting tired and floyd was floyd. Toying with oscar and giving a couple of smerks and was getting oscar. You could tell floyd had some swagger in his punch because of how wide his legs were, giving him more power to his punch. It went 12 rounds and he won by split decision to stay undefeated and win the title

I know him and 50 are tight and all, but that shit was gay, 50 was only there to plug his new album. Anyways. I felt like the only one going for Mayweather at my homies house. I wasn't surprised tho. But that shit coming out with all the mexicaness, classic. And Mayweather definitly won. Fuck that split decision shit. Maywather landed more, threw more, and had a better percentage. And De la hoya wasn't even really hurting him. Floyd was just laughing at him a couple times, not smiling like "oh shit he just rocked me" but an actual laugh like "that all you got old man?"
