The Legends Match Maurice Smith vs Marco Ruas was anything but legendary.
Extremely boring first 3 rounds had the crowd booing loudly and some even left the arena. Maurice Smith finally unleashed and forced the corner of Ruas to throw in the towel to save theyre exhausted fighter.

Ben Rothwell had a harder time than many expected against journeyman Travis Fulton. Rothwell seriously needs some takedown defense to become a top contender, he was able to win via kimura late in the round.

Mark Miller shocked Josh Neer and the crowd finishing Neer in just 54 seconds, Bart Palascewski made quick work of John Strawn, Ryan McGivern managed to lose again however it was to Tim Kennedy who is making a name for himself

Donnie Liles punished Rodrigo Ruas, Dan Christison continues his plummet against Antoine Jaoude, and in more upset news Brian Foster nearly killed Justin Levens

Gracie Fighting Championships has a new welterweight champion, Fredson Paixao defeats Thomas "The Wildman" Denny via armbar to cap off a night of quick exciting matches.
Alexandre Ferreira, the grappling phenom, made quick work of UFC vet Brandon Lee Hinkle, finishing him in just 37 seconds with a evil heel hook. Ronaldo "Jacare" De Souza was able to take Bill Vucick down, mount, and pound out a quick victory.
Veteran Chris Brennan pulled guard on then undefeated Adam Disabato, isolated a leg and finished him quickly with a toe hold.
Great night for Gracie Fighting Championships, despite the event being pushed back and missing fighters like Nick Diaz, Jeff Monson, Frank Trigg and Renato Verrisimo
