WWE WWE to Turn Top Superstar Heel & Put Them with Nexus?

[Bret Hart]

- WWE is toying with the idea of turning a top Superstar heel and have them be the person behind The Nexus angle. The main people being pitched for a heel turn are Triple H and believe it or not, John Cena.

Cena turning heel would be a risk because of his popularity with kids and everything else, including merchandise. Triple H has wanted to turn heel for a few years now but with injuries to him and his co-workers, they haven't had the right time to turn him.


as much as i wanna see Cena be a heel, that would make no sense after him getting his ass handed it to him by them recently

Triple H, i've always like the guy as a heel, however it would be sorta odd having him behind the Nexus angle imo

imo they shouldnt put any vets into the angle as the masterminds, let the young folks have their time

yea he would have been an good add to the angle however it would have worked back in 1999-2001 and summerslam 2002-2006 when he was a monster heel.

also @whatever, you would have also think they had learned their lesson after the alliance storyline

I saw WWE should turn Cena heel. It will be good for business....

And if it doesnt work out they can always turn him face again....how many times as HHH turn heel then face? Heel then Face? The current generation of wrestling fans have short term memory....Heck! remember when HHH broke JR's arm? or when Kane set JR's leg on fire??? I do!

most definitely remember when he broke Jr's arm. have that segment in my library.

the Attitude era at the time was notorious(well Vince Russo and Co) for sudden face/heel changes.

however today, possibly HHH won't go over so well as a heel like he may have done during his prime b/c at this point it seems like no matter what he does, people will cheer him(ie remember WM22 Cena Vs HHH)

Steven Regal might be good with Nexus...and Cody Rhodes, but yeah, I still think it should remain only new guys. They might turn into the nWo one day, at least that's what it looked like to me in the beginning.

Anyone else think that Bret may be the one to turn @ Summerslam? He could be their "secret" mentor...being that his character could possibly still be "bitter" @ WWE and their newest mega baby face (Cena).

I thought the "New Hart Foundation" were a great heel faction back in 97. Bret's pro canada character was awesome, to me at least lol.
