You know i have been thinking alot lately about the 20th anniversary of Eternal.. Woulden't it be amazing if they would go all out on that project? That is if it ever happens..
If I was in charge this is what i would do
Re-release Eternal for its 20th anniversary calling it '' East 99 Eternal 20th Anniversary '' First i would tryna get VH1 tryna do a documentary on the group (focusing on the early years from 94-96) and their rise to fame. I would have people who worked with bone in the documentary aswell, people such as, Tony C, DJ Uneek etc. Exclusive footage of Bone recording songs in the studio would be present as well. This all just to build hype and make people see bone in a diffrent light (Withouth all the drama and whatnot)
By that time i would have already launched a new website called ''bonethugseternal20.com''. There is where you would have to go to get the latest news on the project, but there would be no news for the momment, just a bio about the album how it was created and an photoalbum with unreleased pictures from that era, outisde and inside of the studio. That would be until an offical press statement is released.
When the time comes i would announce the Release Of '' East 99 Eternal 20th Anniversary'' I would have made the whole camp make an offical "Bone Thugs-N-Harmony" User here in the btnhboard and even the wasteland and tell the fans first just to make the fans feel that they are included in something special.
East 99 Eternal would come as a 3 CD/1 DVD. The first CD would include Eternal just as it was created only fully remasterd. The second CD would be a CD Full of outtakes, cuts and remixes. Im taking about like 13 cuts from that era and 3 songs, with someone like Dr Dre or DJ Quick remaking some of their classics with a modern beat and adding some of the stars of today who actully like and respect bone to drop verses. Wiz khalifa, ASAP Rocky, Drake etc. What would be better than to market the orignal bone sound to an newer generation! We all know that the E 99 sound is untouchable and by making some of these new cats jump on the remixes that would make their fanbase automaticlly exopsed to Eternal.
The Third cd would be a Live CD of the Eternal Tour they did in 2010. I know it wasen't made in 95 and it excludes bizzy but i would go for it! If an old multitrack recording of a Eternal concert back in 95 dosen't exist then this is the best we got.
A DVD would be relased aswell with their music videos from that era in HQ and behind the scenes aswell. Other footage that would be included would be, The Sourrce Award Performance, Crossroads Live In WMA, The Eternal interview they did when they all was sittin on a couch, live footage of some songs from a concert and footage of them working in the studio on songs such as, Buddha Lovaz, Mo Murda, Die Die Die.
You would be able to buy them all seperately or you can buy them all togheter as a part of the ''Deluxe Package''. The Deluxe Package also includes Two big posters, one is the album cover artwork and the other is a picture of all five of them. If you put a little bit more money in you can get 3 Eternal t shirts all at the price of one.
What do you think?![]()
