    20th Anniversary Show In Cle

So I went to the show, the opening acts sucked, king chip didn't perform bc the crowd was booing everyone off stage, throwing beers, and chanting we want bone. I thought there was ginna be a riot. After that bone came out n did an extended version of the rock the bells set. Added change the world, body rott, thug devotion, and weed song but took off days of our lives. Bone rocked the crowd n had it goin crazy the whole time. Other negatives were the venue didn't sell out and the rest of bone seemed to want to keep performing, bizzy in particular but krayzie n wish were ready to be done. I got videos ill post soon tho my phone died so I didn't get everything

original souljah boy, ken dog, skant bone then a whole bunch of new mo thugs, john drama, emt and a whole lot more i dont remember. body rott and change the world were the songs i felt lucky to see. also bizzy was out there goin hard, had his family in the house goin wild for him. I felt bad for skant tho bc he just got outa jail and the crowd was throwin beers at him. it was a really badly organized show... but yet and still it was amazing once bone took the stage. i had 5 blunts of bubba kush, and sour diesel and was lovin it. sat in the front row of the balcony, had a birds eye view.

I mean, they already extended their set n did songs they very rarely do so dont get me wrong it was cool as hell. It was just obvious bizzy n layzie were ready to rock all night n krayzie n wish weren't. they did have an afterparty right next door afterwords were they could have performed more, im not sure; I went home lol

Throwing beers at Mo Thug artists? Those people should have been set straight...

But at least Bone followed through, and then some. Not sure how the original Mo Thug members feel about this though, they might be annoyed at Bone because of their unruly fans. Hopefully they're all still cool and we see a reunion of sorts.

Bizzy was an absolute fucking beast! He completely outshined the rest of Bone by 100%. So much energy. Krayzie acted like he didn't really wanna be there. Everyone else did good. I was front row and got some good pics I'll post later. A girl next to us got a ton of video so hopefully she is a member here and will post it. The 456 opening acts went on for WAY too long. Was cool to see Souljah Boy. The crowd was into it and I had a blast. I did think some shit was gonna pop off for a second when the crowd was gettin antsy.

Don't a lot of the original Mo Thug members dislike Krayzie?

Here's a review I found about the concert.

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony saves a rowdy crowd from itself at 20th anniversary show/REVIEW

    Published: Sunday, October 07, 2012, 12:33 PM Updated: Sunday, October 07, 2012, 12:44 PM

By Chuck Yarborough, The Plain Dealer

Cleveland fans are, for the most part, both loyal and patient. That goes for sports teams and bands. But there's a limit in both cases; we know about the Browns, Indians and Cavs, and a group called EMT got a painful lesson learned Saturday night at the 20th anniversary concert of the city's seminal rap group, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.

A diverse line two football fields long stretched outside the Agora Theatre on Euclid Avenue long before the scheduled 7 p.m. opening of the doors. There was little jostling, and much anticipating as fans waited to see the hometown guys who won a Grammy in 1997 for "Tha Crossroads.''

When the doors did swing open -- about 15 minutes late -- the eager crowd poured through and was greeted by what essentially nearly five hours of hip-hop karaoke. Mostly bad hip-hop karaoke. A dozen or so acts traipsed onto the stage, spouting rhymes and often awkward dance moves, all interspersed with DJ calls to "TURN IT UP'' and "MAKE SOME NOISE.''

Occasionally, a guy like local rapper Nice Mic, came along to break the monotony. His moves, his flow, his rhymes and his energy were everything the emcees were trying -- in vain -- to achieve. It's no surprise he was a finalist in the 2012 Ohio Hip-Hop Awards. Likewise, the group Tezo added a panache, as did Ray Cash.

But there was too much of the "other'' stuff leading up to Bone.

EMT isn't a bad hip-hop group; the rhymes are good and the energy is up there. The band was just a victim of circumstances. But you couldn't tell that to the packed Agora, especially not when boos managed to drown out the beats thumping out of speakers, and beer cans (sometimes empty, sometimes not) began to fly onto the stage.

Just four songs into their set, EMT had to pull off the stage.

Local rapper Ray Jr. -- not to be confused with Ray Cash -- was able to restore a little calm, with bouncy favorites like "Sloppy," and DJ Ice, who was providing the beats for Bone, did his best to stall a crowd growing increasingly unruly.

But the only thing that saved the night, truthfully, was the appearance of the five
original members of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Flesh, Layzie, Wish, Krayzie and Bizzy -- Stanley Howse, Steve Howse, Charles Scruggs, Anthony Henderson and Bryon Anthony McCane II, respectively.

And the guys did not disappoint. For 90 minutes, the group had the fist-pumping crowd enthralled, rolling through songs like "Thuggish Ruggish,'' "East 1999,'' "1st of Tha Month'' and "Mo Murda'' (featuring an energetic and amazing flow by Bizzy, who was a dervish of energy all night long).

A trio of tributes to fallen stars -- to Bone's discoverer, Eazy-E of N.W.A., Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac Shakur -- rivaled anything the quintet did on the evening. Bizzy, Krayzie, Wish, Flesh and Layzie all took turns shining. "Look Into My Eyes'' and Krayzie's "Smokin' Budda'' added to the party festivities.

Strangely, it was the Grammy-winning song "Tha Crossroads'' that shone least out of 17 tunes. Perhaps it's because the group has tired of performing the song honoring those who've passed away, but it didn't have the energy and the snap that it should have.

But not enough to get Bone booed off the stage. Saturday night, or ever.

I was there and I don't think I've ever seen Kray smile so much...he looked like he was having as much fun as B and Lay he just has a more calm personality...It was cool seeing them get the keys to the city...Bizzy came the hardest though...few match his energy...It was worth standing through the bad openers(though I enjoyed seeing Souljah Boy and Ray Cash they were good) Bones chemistry looks great and I'm really hoping they are working on new music together

Yeah they should have waited until they had something to sell (album) before cashing in on the 20th anniversary thing imo

nice reviews by all. really great to hear bizzy being extremely consistent. we all know he is a monster on stage when he wants to be, what makes these recent times exciting though is that he is consistently wanting to be great.

Lakers just beat the Celtics so heres a shamrock leaf. :que: - K-Double For crying like a bitch after getting banned :) - Olorin
Opening acts are usually terrible 99% of the time, so the fans should've been expecting that.

I been to a few Bone concerts and I know people can get impatient from waiting. They probably arrived hours earlier to get a good view, and then they have to stand through hours of horrible opening acts. It feels like forever til Bone comes out. So I don't mind if the fans were booing opening acts, no matter who it is. But to throw beers at people? That's fuckin stupid.
